Reflecting this shared belief, this lecture is titled \u201cNature-Inspired Architecture\u201d, a platform for exchanging thoughts on the profound connection between nature and built space.<\/p>\n<p>The event will be hosted by Assoc. Prof. Chih-Yu Lee, Vice Dean of the School of Design at Ming Chuan University. Prof. Lee previously served as Chair of the Department of Architecture for nine years, during which she launched the \u201cMing Chuan International Lecture Series in Architecture.\u201d In recent years, she has collaborated with the Kuan-Tai Yushan Education Foundation to organize a wide range of impactful lectures. Past featured guests include:<\/p>\n<p>Takaharu Tezuka (Tezuka Architects, Japan)<\/p>\n<p>Kenneth Ko (Global Design Principal, Aedas)<\/p>\n<p>Takaaki Fuji (Chief Designer, Mitsubishi Jisho Sekkei, Japan)<\/p>\n<p>Moon Hoon (Visionary Architect, Korea)<\/p>\n<p>Other notable events curated in the Kuan-Tai \u00d7 Ming Chuan Salon Series include:<br \/>\n\u201cRe-translating Architecture\u201d (featuring Wen-Chieh Chiu, Jia-Ju Lin, and Yen-Ying Lin) and \u201cArchitectural Dialogues with Industry Leaders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This June 2025, during the graduation season, we are proud to present this meaningful lecture featuring three generations of \u201cnature-oriented\u201d architects\u2014representing the senior, mid-career, and emerging voices in the field. Together, they will discuss their perspectives and practices regarding the relationship between nature, space, and architecture.
